Job Summary

An established Intensivist group in Idaho seeks an additional Intensivist to support its services at a regional medical center. The critical care services are led by critical care physicians who have the appropriate time, expertise, and commitment to oversee the care of critically ill patients within the hospital.

Job Description

Model
Intensivist-directed multidisciplinary rounds will be conducted daily. The Staff Intensivist will participate in the ongoing development of the Intensivist Program while working to maintain and improve the delivery of outstanding patient care. Intensivist services are provided using a shift staffing model.

Facilities
Medical Center is a JCAHO-accredited, 289-bed Level 1 Critical Care Center, Level 2 Trauma Center. The ICU is a 29-bed mixed medical surgical unit with trauma and open heart surgery.

Location
Located in the outdoor resort area of Idaho, Jackson Hole is under 2 hours away. Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks are less than three hours' drive. The airport has daily direct service to major hubs at Minneapolis, Denver, and Salt Lake.

Compensation
Benefits include malpractice insurance, reimbursable CME, and relocation allowance. The salary is nationally competitive.
